In my journey to increase the amount of money I make online, I have spent $1000s and $1000s on almost every internet product and service hyped in the past 2 years. Most of them have not been worth the time it took to read the ebook and definitely not worth the hard earned money I had to pay. At this point I consider myself very jaded. I am very cautious (probably overly at this point) about what I buy. Eric over at Make Easy Money With Google And AdSense has a great post about Top 5 AdSense Boo-Boos.

His list contains some that you BETTER know and some that are not as obvious (but should be):

1. Don’t click your own ads
2. Tell your friends/family about your site
3. Write content for adsense and not humans
4. Not testing
5. Participating in traffic schemes

Most are targeted at trying to game the system and as you have seen in the latest news, Google will disable your account whether you are making $70k a month with Adsense or not.

Don’t risk your long term Adsense income for a few extra clicks it is just not worth it!

Most people are learning quickly that Website Directory Submission is quickly becoming a very popular and easy way to get high quality, one way links to your website that are targeted. These kind of links are exactly what the search engines are looking for. The websites with more quality, one way links are typically the sites that rank the highest, period.

I can’t think of an easier way to get links. Of course, if you’re going to get links this quickly, it’s important to vary your website title (anchor text) every 20-30 links or so, to make things look more natural to the search engines.

Good thing that is built right into the system. I have so much planned and queued up for this site now that I have decided to run with it, but the one thing holding me up is the site design!!!

Site design / layout is the biggest pain in the @ss for me. It normally takes 3 times longer for me to get a site designed than it does for me to develop and code. It is unbelievable to me that getting a site designed can be so horrible painful.

If you are a designer and/or willing to help me with designs please contact me. I have many projects and sites so if I found one good person, I could give them a lot of work.

This site will be blog (front page), product individual pages (subdomains), services pages and maybe a directory or two. I need it all to have a general common look so their is a cohesion between all the pages, products and services.

I have decided that I am going to focus all my energy into one site that I not only provide but that I use. I do research all day, write custom webmaster tools, and find great resources but haven’t created one central place for them all.Well here we are.
